Grammy-award winning musician Tony Bennett told CNSNews.com he loves everything Barack Obama has done in his first 100 days as president and thinks every American should give him all-out support for anything he wants to do.
Bennett further said that Americans should imitate the other countries of the world that support Obama. I really hope that every citizen of the United States would imitate the rest of the world because theyre all for Obama, said Bennett. Every other country adores what happened in our great country to have him as president.
Bennetts comments were made at the National Portrait Gallery where he presented the Smithsonian Museum with a portrait he painted of the late jazz legend Duke Ellington, commemorating his 110th birthday on April 29.
I love everything hes done and everything hes doing, Bennett said of Obama. I think we should give him all-out support for anything he wants to do. We should all help. Hes giving our country back to us, and thats the laws of the land the citizens own the country.

#26 LMAO!!! Excellent.
I thought he was dead.
____________
I wish he was and will be glad when he is.
You know, people get testy when you make comparisons with the personality cults associated with brutal dictators, but in form there is no difference between the way Obama is being treated and the personality cults of Stalin, Hitler, Mao, Peron, Hoxha, the Kim family, the Ceaucescus, and so on.
What it means has to do with how much form matters relative to content. But form is often a strong predictor of content.
And we should care what Bennett says about anything other than singing?
“Hes giving our country back to us, and thats the laws of the land the citizens own the country.
Huh? More accurate to say George Soros owns the country courtesy of BHO.
The term “Shut up and sing” was invented for the likes of him.
I always preferred Al Martino, aka Johnny Fontane in Godfather. To my taste, better songs and better voice.
I stand corrected. I’ve always thought that he was Lebanese.

Anyway, entertainers should keep their mouths shut with regard to politics lest they risk fan backlash. The less you know about their political persuasions the better.
I used to be a strong fan of Jane Fonda, Ed Aisner, Richard Gere, Alec Baldwin, Susan Sarandon, Tim Robbins... etc Now, I will not go out of my way to watch anything of theirs, and CERTAINLY HAVE VOWED NEVER TO PAY ADMISSION TO SEE ANYTHING OF THEIRS.
Why? Because knowing their politics, I can see it in their work and in the parts they play. Not so much as with Baldwin, but no question the others are feeble headed liberals who would not be anywhere without someone feeding them the lines.
YOu’re right.. ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tony_Bennett )
Ok... Ok... I was wrong... Jeeez... one false remark on this site and you’re beat to death with a noodle... :-)
Well, that explains why he’s such a great singer!!!!
No Mr. Bennett, Obama has taken our country and its Constitution to the land fill and given the country to the UAW as promised........
Not better, different. Tony Bennett really has a gift. Look at any one of a dozen major league pitchers outside of Curt Schilling to demonstrate that there’s more than a bit of irony in how talent falls upon people.
Billion-dollar arm/ten cent head, comes to mind.
That’s Bennett. Billion dollar voice . . .
Naturally, agreed. Even though I was trying to keep it "apples to apples" as far as genre and time frame, it is still a case of de gustibus et coloribus non disputandum est. Hence, my qualifier to my taste.
Billion-dollar arm/ten cent head, comes to mind. Thats Bennett. Billion dollar voice . . .
Taht's very apt and eloquent desctiption.
