If Romney had won, conservatism would have lost.

McCain won, and conservatism not only lost, it was demolished beyond recognition.

Romney has (had) the articulation and the balls to speak out against the libs.

McCain (except for one night at Rick Warren's church) was a wimp the entire election.

Thanks for nothing, Romney haters!

So in a supreme display of arrogance and elitist contempt, in a post fairly seetehing with anger and bitterness, you blame those who didn't vote for Romney -- "Romney haters," in your lexicon -- for the mess we're in.

The reason Romney lost was everybody else's fault; Romney himself has no responsiblity for it. That is the way you see it, and that is pathetic.

Romney's defeat didn't have anything to do with the fact that what you considered "balls" and "speaking out against the Libs" by Romney, the majority of conservatives recognized as empty fine-sounding prattle that whitewashed Romney's penchant for big government and contempt for true conservative principle.

McCain lost, and you say "conservatism not only lost, it was demolished beyond recognition." No, the Republican party was what was damaged because conservatism had been abandoned long before McCain lost -- it became uncrecognizable when its primary line-up was Rudy McRombee. Conservatism was abandoned and the party lost.

Your post is one of the most outstanding examples I've seen yet of the poor loser, whiny, self-pitying, finger-pointing contempt that is intrinsic to the Romney mindset.

THAT is why Romney lost, and he deserved to lose.
