Of course you would see it that way... Most folks wouldn’t. It’s a blatant attempt to try and make him look bad. You can do that on the issues- plenty of fodder, but at least be straight about it.

I see that as a sly slap at Palin and a phony attempt to pretend he's just making a joke. It was one of the very first things he said as taking the microphone. Now, me the NYC are debating the exact words of his statement, but the statement was a negative jab at Palin, and the room went cold over it.
