I don’t know. I went back and watched her early debate videos in Alaska and thought at the time that she sounded genuinely conservative. She did openly buck some of McCain’s positions and stated she wasn’t going to agree with him on several issues, but she later went along with some his positions that raised doubts in my eyes. But I still supported her. It’ll be interesting to see how it goes.
McCain blew his chances by supporting the bailouts.
One biggie was "You have nothing to fear from this man Obama"
Jim, I also held my nose and voted for McCain/Palin, but with much trepidation. It was like a lose (McCain) or LOSE BIG with Obummer. Next time around we need a real clear choice to the marxists that have taken over the dem party.
The lose/lose big thing is something I hope I’ll never have to feel again. I’m hoping some one will seize the opportunity and lead the GOP back to where it belongs. Reagan’s shoes may be impossible to fill with our current crop of pols.
Now she's simply honing her message and image to be right enough to get primary support without being so overboard right to blow her chances in the general in 12.
Same here. She really needs to clarify her position on illegals if she is to gain the support of conservatives.
