* Gubernatorial Proclamation issued by Governor - Governor Pat Quinn Tuesday issued a Proclamation that allows for the mobilization of state assets, as the Governor deems necessary, to aid in the distribution of medical supplies and other actions needed to protect public's health and safety.
* Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Swine Influenza Web Site - For the latest information on human cases of swine influenza A (H1N1) in the United States, click on the following link from the CDC:
www.cdc.gov/swineflu/index.htm.
* Travel Warning: Swine Influenza and Severe Cases of Respiratory Illness in Mexico - Avoid Nonessential Travel to Mexico. The CDC is concerned that continued travel by U.S. travelers to Mexico presents a serious risk for further outbreaks of swine flu in the United States.

If you have recently traveled to one of the affected areas, you should pay close attention to your health for seven days.
* World Health Organization Pandemic Alert Level - Phase 5. This is characterized by human-to-human spread of the virus into at least two countries in one WHO region. While most countries will not be affected at this stage, the declaration of Phase 5 is a strong signal that a pandemic is imminent and that the time to finalize the organization, communication, and implementation of the planned mitigation measures is short. Outbreak???
Now that global warming has been discredited, pandemic flu is taking its place as the public panic du jour. And of course, only more government can possibly save us.
I cannot believe the almost laughable dog and pony show the goobermint is conducting to advert any serious realities and discussion of the swine flu effect that is a direct result of still open borders and the ever so coveted influx of uninnoculated illegal aliens.
The pandemic map is a good way to track illegal aliens.
