President Barack Obama on Wednesday urged parents to prepare for the possibility that their children's schools could be closed temporarily if swine flu cases spread to them.

School closings? uh oh. Better raise taxes.
More correctly, I think it was the "first death in the U.S." I believe the decedent was Mexican.
Selective logic?
“You would close the border if you thought you could contain the spread of disease, but the disease already is in a number of states within the United States.”

...”prepare for the possibility that their children’s schools could be closed temporarily if swine flu cases spread to them.”
Here he sounds to me like he’s having a ‘Bush’ moment:
....”he wants Americans to know the government is doing “whatever is necessary” to contain the emerging health threat,”...
BUT REFUSES TO CLOSE OUR BORDERS
reminds me of the flu panic of the mid-70s.Nothing ever came of that and this scare will fizzle out,too
