A self-proclaimed Muslim barbarian shouted his contempt for his judges yesterday at the start of his trial for the torture and murder of a young Jewish man.

Youssouf Fofana, 28, who led a loose-knit gang of youths from an immigrant housing estate, swaggered into court and shouted “Allah will conquer” as the court began hearing a case into a killing that horrified France and the world Jewish community in 2006

Mr Fofana, whose parents came to France from Ivory Coast, denies killing the victim, who was tied up in a cellar and tortured with acid, cigarettes and knives. He died in an ambulance after Mr Fofana dumped him by a railway line and allegedly set him alight.

No big deal; it's not like they put panties on his head. Besides, the torturer wasn't American, so why should we be upset at his actions?

You don't have to be upset or even remotely interested at this news, if you believe that you are completely isolated, and protected against Islamic Terrorist killings due to living in the US, and are happy living with that fact, that's fine.

I think the majority of FReepers, whether they have Foreign interests or not, recognise that the rise of Radical Islamists on a ground roots, and power base level, in all areas of the World is a linked issue, and if posting this article adds just a bit of vigilance to one person, I'm ok with that.
