What “speech” will be outlawed next?
What do you mean, "next"? This effectively outlaws ALL freedom of speech, no matter who it's directed at. The only exception is the freedom to bash Christianity. That hate crime will never be enforced.
In fact this bill is much worse than the "hate crime" rules that Canada enforces through it's human rights commissions. It's not quite entrenched into " criminal law" in Canada; each case is reviewed by the human rights commission, whose rulings only result in fines, cease and desist orders, and personal damage awards to the complainant, but not a criminal record against the accused.
This bill puts hate speech into law, which results in a felony conviction, prison and/or fines, and a criminal record.
So much for free speech in America. So much for the constitution.
