Fox News lied. They are broadcasting the Presidents address about himself tonight.

I heard him today. He was on fire. The "power of attorney" thing should really hit home. I can see the libtards going, "Yeah, that's a good idea. I'll never have to think for myself again."

I grabbed this out... and this is why, I'm really upset.

"I have not needed a government program for my success. And the people who have achieved great things, and many have, haven't done it with a government program."

I spent years working my way up the ladder, studying and achieveing great things. And then what happens? Enron and Worldcom come along with hair raising financial scandals, all of which were prosecuted under current law.

But even with the likes of Fastow getting his, the government has to come along and really show these corporate criminals that they mean business and we get Sarbanes-Oxley.

Now this costs large corporations millions of dollars to comply with each and every year and adds almost nothing to the economy. So what does it do? It kills jobs. It killed my job.

Not only did this government "program" kill my job after I spent years working on my career, without any government help, but it did nothing to alert anyone to this massive financial crisis we have.

So now, not only am I out of a job because of this failure of legislation, but I am having trouble finding a new one in the rotten economy.

Rush is right. But, he left out the part about successful people being blindsided out of a life's worth of hard work by these government programs. They only create casualties of the successful, not the other way around.

Nailed It!
Moral Clarity BUMP !

This ping list is not author-specific for articles I'd like to share. Some for the perfect moral clarity, some for provocative thoughts; or simply interesting articles I'd hate to miss myself. (I don't have to agree with the author all 100% to feel the need to share an article.)

I will try not to abuse the ping list and not to annoy you too much, but on some days there is more of the good stuff that is worthy of attention.

You are welcome to browse the list of truly exceptional articles I pinged to lately. Updated on April 1, 2009.  on  my page.
You are welcome in or out, just freepmail me (and note which PING list you are talking about).

Besides this one, I keep 2 separate PING lists for my favorite authors Victor Davis Hanson and Orson Scott Card.
