I think that quote is original to me, but I’m not sure.

That thought has been in my head for quite a while.

Many conservatives do not even realize that, and you will even hear Rush give a flawed definition of what a conservative is. He says that a conservative has faith in the goodness of his fellow man, while he says a liberal is the opposite.

Sorry Rush, I beg to differ.

A corollary of my tagline is: a conservative doesn’t think that anyone is pure and good enough to be king.
