It is in the mandate of the RNC to defend and support incumbents, no matter how liberal or squishy they are. Michael Steele will be much happier to support Toomey than Spectre. [preferred spelling]

My guess is that he hass a lot to do with Toomey.

Specter will probably try to register and run as an independent and a Democrat, if possible.

His ego can’t handle defeat. He feals that Senate seat belongs not to the voters of PA, but to him personally and there are far too many elected legistors on both sides who would agree with him.

We need to flush careercriminal legislators out of office.
