Unfortunately, I think he stands a good chance of being re-elected as a Dem. Many “Republicans” switched parties to vote in the presidential primary (I remember upwards of 200,000) and then apparently voted for Obama in the general. The takeaway is that there are simply fewer Republicans in Pennsylvania than there used to be. He would have lost the primary to Toomey because it is closed, but I think he wins the general. JMHO.
Oh, did I say that Spector is a coward? I'd say it to his face if I had the chance.
This is just another reason for term limits being established for anyone who serves in the senate the house of representatives.
