Gibbs is such a POS! He is also glibly ducking questions on when they knew about the swine flu in Mexico(since medical advance teams are always sent before a presidential visit and the first report of swine flu was a week before his visit). Gibbs just keeps repeating that the Obama was never in any danger,blahblahblah. The press said that was not the nature of their question..that they wanted to know when the WH knew? He just dodged the question completely.

Actually, I just asked three simple questions...I thought it a stupid thing to do, and still do ... and, yes, it was weird. Certainly all the downtown workers who had to scramble out of their buildings as they saw the plane approaching thought it was a little weird too.

The fact that this raised such a ruckus downtown should convince you that this wasn’t a run-of-the-mill event.

Common sense says you take your commerative photo on the ground, or far away from any sky scrapper. Show me a time when Bush did this. Bush, unlike Obama, had enough common sense and caring to know it would be tasteless to buzz New York City just to get a photo of his plane. Dude you have maybe not been to New York since 9-11? An airplane of that size and performing the types of maneuvers for 30 minutes would make anyone as “What the Hell? Not again?”.

I have been to the city many times since 9-11 and it is still weird to not see the towers as a reference from any where in the city and there is still some odd odor in the area.
