Ice cores and CO2 measurement are a false God, designed to specifically establish a low CO2 baseline and make the CO2 hockey stick look plausible, The false science is the simple fact that CO2 does not remain fixed in the ice layers where it was captured — It diffuses throughout the ice layer.

This gives an overall flat line appearance to the CO2 detected in the past, especially the last 2000 years, where diffusion is highest.

Don't be mislead by the ice core CO2 joke, it's designed to deceive. Plenty of science on the diffusion of CO2 in ice, search google scholar for more.

How on Earth can we expect a population that thinks “We the People” appears in the Gettysburg Address, can at all understand diffusion?

It is easy to fool the uneducated. Ice is solid, right? Nothing can go through a solid, right? So the CO2 is fixed in place forever. It is easy to pull the wool over the eyes of folks poorly educated and trained to believe that perception is reality. They have never been told that at atomic distances, there is no such thing as a “solid” and atoms and molecules in “solids” are in motion all the time, leading to diffusion, even between two different solids next to each other.
