This article is a few months old, but with gay marriage recently becoming legal in several states (Iowa, Vermont, Connecticut), I thought it was worth posting.

Nice tidbits in there about Romney too.

Thank God we didn’t elect him president.

It gets worse. Gays will use the new legal status to claim discrimination against them by churches that don’t endorse their perverted lifestyle.

In turn they will campaign for churches to lose their tax-exempt status on the basis that they discriminate against gays.

And the liberal courts will help the gays stamp out churches (at least the faithful ones).

I have doubts about Romney, but I still would have voted for him over Obama and would do so again if it comes to that in 2012.

Allowing gays to marry is just cruel.
I mean, haven’t they suffered enough already.

Groups of homosexual activists often go into restaurants or bars and publicly kiss and fondle each other to test whether the establishment demonstrates sufficient “equality” — now that homosexual marriage is “legal”.

These maggots not only want to be equal, they want to be more equal the heterosexual customers. If I was to take my wife out to a restaurant and fondle her, chances are pretty good that we would be arrested for indecent or disorderly conduct . . . as well we should be!

Because same-sex marriage is “legal”, a federal judge has ruled that the schools now have a duty to portray homosexual relationships as normal to children, despite what parents think or believe! *

The reasoning here is absurd. By this standard, schools should be teaching children how to use firearms, chew and smoke tobacco, consume alcohol, wash and iron clothes, clean out the garage, and well, anything else that’s not specifically against the law. This is ridiculous, and people who think like this shouldn’t be anywhere near a school.

Maybe. Maybe not. I’d rather have gone through this short term pain of a complete imbecile in office to “realign” the moderates and independents with some logic and reason.

Kind of like it’s better to go through the short term pain of letting highly leveraged, *stupid* companies go under than to prop them up artificially with billions in non-existent cash when they’re doomed to fail regardless.

You yank a band-aid off. You don’t hope for the best by doing it slowly. And I’m glad it’s all being hung around the necks of the socialists.

Hi, Gene; how’s Roger doing? Still trying to start a family? Here’s some pamphlets with kidnapping tips. What’s that? Sex roughing up your thing being unnatural and all? Here’s a coupon for Nivea lotion...hope it helps. Hey - we at the church are going to have a Family’s First Picnic and thought about you. Here’s a ticket to Disney World for their special day honoring your lifestyle choice. Yeah, it’s on the same day as our picnic...sorry about that but have a blast (er) great time on us.

Wouldn’t matter, O would of smoked him. Democrats are clear on their socialism. Further Obama has put more troops in Afghanistan, Gates is pressuring the gold plate waste, so Obama will be for him solid on defense.

The GOP will continue to be a blurry, stand for little, unclear brand, not offering any dramatic difference that a average voter will know of. People prefer clarity to nuance.

Wishy washy, big tent, focus group RNC corporate bland, processed won’t inspire anyone. The GOP may well look at McCains 5 point spread as the good old day.

A Romney presidency would not have been all that bad, since the USSC is still a fair ways from doing what the Mass Supremes did. However the issue would have hurt him mortally with the social conservative bloc. We might have seen a 60+% Obama vote instead of the 52% that was mustered against McCain.
