According to an Earth Day survey, one third of schoolchildren between the ages of six and eleven think the earth will have been destroyed by the time they grow up. Thats great news, isnt it? Not for the earth, I mean, but for environmental awareness. Congratulations to Al Gore, the Sierra Club, and the eco-propagandists of the public-education system in doing such a terrific job of traumatizing Americas moppets. Traditionally, most of the folks you see wandering the streets proclaiming the end of the world is nigh tend to be getting up there in years. Its quite something to have persuaded millions of first-graders that their best days are behind them.

Twenty years of cartoon propagandizing coming to fruition. Not good.......

When I was that age, I was deathly fearful of nuclear war. So, when I grew up, i joined the military to make sure the commies and general foes of America stayed on their side of the world. This might not all be a bad thing.
The more kids learn what a farce global warming is, I am confident we are going to see a lot of these rebel against this junk science propoganda-polooza. here's hoping

Yes, it is tragic....there is no one to take the baton from us - other than a coalition of those that hate the west AND Israel.

Even the worst of the pessimists of the global warmists do not foresee much geothermal upheaval for the next century or so. Who’s been teaching these kids’ teachers? A POX ON THESE WITCHES!

I think that Pakistan is the most likely disaster that will unhinge the Obama presidency.

Its quite something to have persuaded millions of first-graders that their best days are behind them. Only Steyn gives is classic lines like that. And all too true as the enviro nut cases have far too much access to our school kids.

hes determined on a transformational presidency, one that will remake the American peoples relationship to their national government...state control of the economy, and much else.
Hence, the attacks on capitalism, transforming private sector control of capital to the Statists' control of the means of production.

The environmental anarchists are now apparently in the catbird seat. Stand by for further events.

It aint working for Venezuela
It doesn't work in Cuba either, or anywhere else it was tried. And it will fail here too- it's a utopian dream of left wing ideologues, who don't even have the wisdom or ethics to govern properly.
