I would like to see a location map for cases inside of Mexico but haven't as of yet.
It has been a month or so since I went down there but last week I was working with a Mexican national who had flown up from Monterrey Tuesday. As near as I can tell, she was oblivious to the issue entirely.
I didn't really pick up on it much until Thursday night. And it really didn't get widespread coverage until Friday evening either.
Drug Cartels will kill a lot more people than this thing is my general belief.
Thanks for the update, Gulfbreeze. It’s always interesting to hear from freepers on the spot.
List of questions to be asked at border:
1. Are you legally entering the USA?
2. Are you sick?
If you answer above correctly, you’re in...God help us!
Hmm, come to think of it, why aren’t we using this approach to airline security? Just ask the boarding passengers if they have any evil intentions. All the rest of the security measures would obviously then be superfluous. Speed things up a bit, too.
You aim it at everyone coming in from Mexico, purely non-invasive testing. Everyone over 100 degrees gets throat/mouthy swabbed and cultured for the virus and contact information established.
Many would be unaware of mild temp increases, this would keep everyone warned and tracked and treated.
The Japanese are doing this right now.
Homeland Security and the CDC is way behind the ball on this.
Right with you. Got vehicle searched by Border patrol in 1987 north of Harlingen Texas. LONG search. I was a red head freckled kid from North Texas. Got up the road about 10 miles and saw a bunch of illegals walking up the railroad tracks. When a plane appeared overhead, they all dissapeared into the brush. This foolishness has been going on for a LONG time.
ASKING them if they are sick? Geez. What Maroons. All they have to say is NO and we’ll believe them? What a laugh.
