The Pak military has given the green light to the Taliban to attack the “city folk” who were opposed to military rule, and the spineless civilian government.
Then, once they have had a healthy taste of Taliban murder and oppression, the military will again assume power, on condition that the various factions behave themselves, and the military will slaughter Taliban like there is no tomorrow.
Paki military practically trained the Taliban... in fact, just a few days ago there were reports of Pakistan transferring bearded officers in the military in order to avoid trouble.
“...and the military will slaughter Taliban like there is no tomorrow.”
It may just become the other way around.
