They don't even have good reporters bill. Maybe two or three. The rest are illiterate leftwing activists, just like the editorial board.

I predict that the Times will declare bankruptcy and default on its debt. Once that is done someone like Soros will buy up the pieces dirty cheap and fund the newspaper from there.

Goebbels wasn’t a journalist either, to the best of my knowledge.

That unfair and unbalanced approach has alienated a large number of readers and advertisers...46 percent of Americans define themselves as conservative, while just 34 percent say they are liberal.

insulting half the country on a daily basis may not be a great business plan.

Obama’s bailout of the NYT editorial section (the entire paper) will be based on the fact that 95% of American media newsrooms will be paralyzed if they don't receive their marching orders from the NYT.

I also imagine that the NYP, WashTimes and WSJ have gotten lazy, knowing that they need only assume that the NYT is 100% in order to determine how to correctly report a story.

The NYT will never, never, never, go under. King Obama will see to that. We will just have to get used to it. The communists rags are needed to publish far left junk. King Obama and good old George's Move On. Org has plans, you can bet on that.

This week the paper won five Pulitzers.

An almost meaningless prize these days. A large number of prizes for journalism go to the journalist who caused the largest breach in US national security each year. And stories about any victim group recognized by the left are always strong contenders, whether or not they are true.

A few months ago, the company borrowed $250 million from Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim at a reported 14 percent interest rate.

Good grief. You'd think Pinch could get a better deal from his personal credit cards. Strictly as a business decision, what did they expect to change enough to offset the 14% interest on a quarter-billion loan?

A sugar daddy, that's what. If not the federal government (and although I suggested that some months ago it was half in jest) then maybe Soros or some other feller with more ideology than brains. The Times's name alone ought to be worth a few million a month to somebody who has it to spend. At least just now. But like anything else that sort of thing tends to have a decreasing value over time, whether it's machinery or street walkers.
