I am very seriously curious about just how many gun owning Americans will actually take a do or die stand and shoot any thug who attempts to take their guns away?

I will have no problem elevating my front yard to the historical equivalent of Fort Sumter.

You have to remember, the thugs won’t play nice. They’ll smash their way in at 0-dark-30 while you’re in bed (because real Americans...um...HAVE JOBS). Just pointing out that preparedness should go a little farther when talking about totalitarians.
