Obama on Saturday announced a plan for federal workers to propose ways to improve their agencies' and departments' budgets. The president said employees' ideas would be key as his Cabinet officials try to cut millions from the budget and trim the deficit.

Interesting - I’ve not thought about it like that, but it sure seems that way, doesn’t it? You may be paranoid, but I think a little paranoia is warranted in this instance.

Stop giving free heath insurance to government workers. Make them pay what the rest of us pay.

Seriously get rid of all the money spent on “diversity” training, this is a huge cost and waste of time. Stop benefits for people shacking up, only married people notdomestic partners should be getting benefits.

” and most of them begin with that interesting belt that MICHELLE has been wearing, lately!”

She looks like she’s wearing Evander Holyfield’s championship belt.
In fact, she looks like she could headline the undercard at the next heavyweight bout in Las Vegas .
Obama looks like his usual weakling self by begging entry level govt workers
to put ideas in his Suggestion Box on how to balance the budget.
He must have gotten the Suggestion Box idea from his vast work experience
at Baskin Robbins-the only known place where Obama has ever worked an 8 hr day.

I heard somewhere that Dilbert was going to be laid off and the comic strip retired...this sounds like a great opportunity.

"..we'll establish a process through which every government worker can submit their ideas for how their agency can save money and perform better. We'll put the suggestions that work into practice."

They could publish government worker's lame ideas about cost reductions and have just as funny a strip.

Yeah, that’s my thought as well. Why do we need a dept of energy. We have state of the art energy companies here, who can provide plenty of energy if they let them.

I’d also add this. Are we still funding PBS? If so, why? If this is such a financial disaster that justifies this level of deficit spending, how can we justify funding PBS?

You’ve got to be kidding me! Asking federal workers about how to cut expenses? They might actually put their minds to this for a few seconds, then think, “wait, do I really want to do this?”

Adopt the "Fair Tax", and then lay off most of the IRS.

Disban the BATF.

Obama should cut way back on his trips overseas. Taking several planes and five hundred people is much too costly.

What WAS that bill anyway?
