How did this hack even get a commission, let alone a general’s star? I know the old saying that “scum rises to the top”, but got-damn!

Affirmative action works untold wonders. A former employer of mine hired a AA minority as an attorney, gave him that title, had him practicing as one, and found out two years later that he wasn't licensed anywhere!!!

I'm no fan of affirmative action, but even an attorney who's a member of a "protected class" has to be admitted to bar of the state he wants to practise in. Your former employer did a terrible job of background checking. I understand your point though. Karpinski is (allegedly) female, so her mediocrity was overlooked by the brass. Sad state of affairs.
