We are not a nation of saints, or holy men, just men. Moral vanity in an individual is an unseemly affectation, but moral vanity in a position of power that endangers the lives of others is a sick perversion of virtue. If loss of life is the result, then we are talking of arrogant criminal negligence.
The democrats may have indulged in moral vanity prior to the elections, now in power they have embarked on a foreign policy of sickly perverted virtue where enemies of the state such as Venezuela and Iran are courted, and servants of the state prosecuted. We’ll see if they are criminally negligent. Now THAT would merit prosecution.
