House Appropriations Committee Chairman Dave Obey threw a bucket of cold water on the Obama administration’s foreign policy agenda Thursday, admitting serious doubt about success in Afghanistan and Pakistan and no appetite for helping the International Monetary Fund until European allies do more to stimulate their economies.

Hey, Zero, what is the exit strategy?

And if you are so worried about drugs, since we have 60,000 troops in Afghanistan, why is half the world’s opium crop still being grown there?

And what’s the plan when the Taliban reaches Islamabad in Pock-ees-tan and gets their hands on a nuclear weapon?

Send Hillary in to screech at them?

Zero owns Afghanistan now.

Time to declassify more memos. Nothing to see here folks. Please don’t pay attention to the fact that our allies are leaving us all alone in Afghanistan. The world loves us remember.

Ask the Russians about Afghanistan or read the Bear went over the Mountain. I can guarantee you our National Security team didn’t.

Clinton said: “We now are making up for a lot of lost time. So this is an incredibly difficult set of issues that are all interconnected….We can point fingers at the Pakistanis…because we're wondering why they don't just get out there and deal with these people"

It sounds good, Hillary - so why don't you and zerO just get out there and deal with the people who are trying to kill us. We are giving the enemy top secret information, that could get our troops killed.

Why don't you deal with the illegals who are invading OUR homeland!!

Afghanistan provides about 95% of the world’s opium and heroin now.

Who is crazier? Obama or Obey? I would call it a tie.

A recent Obey quote: “Earmarks do not add one dime to the federal budget. As chairman of the appropriations committee, I get a number for what the budget is going to be and those earmarks are included in that number.”

Thanks for the correct information.

It makes it even more imperative that the opium trade be contained.

Then again, there’s too much money to be made, even by politicians in some indirect way.

That’s my belief, too. There’s too much money and too many greedy people involved to shut it down. That’s why the Afghan narco-economy was allowed to grow into the monster it is.
