The Left is constantly thwarted by the Constitution, so they want to just tear it up.

Divisive social issues like gay marriage would be excluded.

Can California hold a State Con-Con, but prohibit it from proposing amendment regarding certain subjects? Wouldn't a State Con-Con be able to propose an amendment regarding anything subject?
