muzzies lie to infidels... it is what they do. This should surprise no one. The head of the BATF also says hussein is a liar... using his own data.

BUILD THE WALL... DEPORT THE VERMIN... IF THEY BALK... STEAL THEIR OIL FIELDS... IF THEY FURTHER BALK... KILL THEM ALL!

I am sick of mexico and what it is doing to my Nation... Illegal mexicans are criminals... legal hispanic citizens are brothers and sisters.

The fact that the problem is portrayed as an 'American Gun' problem and not an 'American Border' problem just highlights how liberal America's news reporters. advocates are now

"a large percentage of the guns recovered in Mexico do not get sent back to the U.S. for tracing, because it is obvious from their markings that they do not come from the U.S."
But then, Obunko never met a fact he couldn't distort.

He knows exactly what he is doing...his plan is to take your guns, not get the facts straight.

only 17 percent of guns found at Mexican crime scenes have been traced to the U.S, sales or manufacture.”

Read previous post, the 90% is from the guns Mexico submitted to ATF for identification, NOT 90% of all guns found in Mexico.

The actual percentage is 17% of ALL guns found at Mex. crime scenes were “traceable” to USA.(total is 5,114 out of 29,000)

As the saying goes, “figures don't lie, but many liars figure”.

Kinda hard to believe in light of the fact that 90% of guns sold in the US don’t even come from the US.

Along those lines, the number was cited correctly by William Newell, an ATF Special Agent who oversees the bureau's operations along border in Arizona and New Mexico, when he testified before a House subcommittee on March 24.

"In fact, 90 percent of the firearms recovered in Mexico, and which are then successfully traced, were determined to have originated from various sources within the continental U.S." [Emphasis Added.]

Forget about the 90% number. The real sham is that the 0bama et al.continues to claim that 90% of the firearms are illegally purchased in the United States and smuggled across the border. I suspect, however, that a significant number of the firearms were legitimately provided by or on behalf of the United States government to the Mexican military and Mexican police forces, and as a result of institutional corruption at all levels of the Mexican government, the firearms ended up in the hands of the drug cartels and other criminals. I also suspect that the Mexican government only submits a third of the guns recovered at crime scenes to the ATF for tracing because a significant number of the remaining two-thirds of recovered firearms would trace back to the Mexcian government.

I’d love to see some of his acorn tugs try to take my sons and my guns.
Note guns, meaning more than one.

I never trust a number I read in an article written by a journalist. They haven’t a clue about numbers. Percentages are rocket science to them.

If the people who go into journalism understood numbers, they would chose a different occupation.

The distortions about the “gun crisis”, like all other phony crises used by the DemonRATs, is the build up of another plank in their agenda to disarm and silence any possible opposition.
It wouldn't matter if there were billions of U.S. guns in Mexico, or none. The guns are simple tools, the criminals and the criminal enterprise is the problem, and nothing is going to be addressed to solve the problem. Mexican criminal gangs on both sides of the border are what needs to be dealt with, but the DemonRATs welcome them with open arms. There wouldn't be drug cartels if there wasn't a market for their products.
Legalize the drugs and mandate that no taxpayer funds may be used for treatment of any drug use related illness and the druggies will kill themselves off quicker and be less prone to commit crimes to support their habits.

I’m not aware of ANY firearms manufacturing companies in Mexico so of course ANY guns have to come from somewhere.

Historically most guns in Mexico come from their nearest neighbor with a ready supply of manufactured arms.

Well shucks if that’s the case and all those confiscated guns came from the U.S., I think they should be recycled into our economy—some of those guns are getting hard to find!

That goes too far in my book. Once the liberal media gloms onto it and makes it a full fledged talking point, it must be fought and defeated.

The problem is that for many in the media, they're no longer reporting but advocacy groups. They're willing to manipulate the information they report to get a specific societal and political outcome, which has become all to apparent in the last election. But it goes back much farther in time: Back in the 1980s, when Time magazine ran their "Death By Gun" coordinated attack (along with HBO), there was outrage by gun owners. Time responded that gun control was too important an issue to society, and they had a social responsibility to try to get the most draconian gun control laws passed.

This really isn't anything new. The MSM will knowingly lie about this sort of thing.
