The only poll I check consistently and give any merit is Rasmussen.

28% Republican was 9% heavy Republican + 9% moderate + 9% indep - lean Republican (note ~9 +~9 +~9 = 28).

46% Democrat was 16% heavy Democrat, 20% moderate, 10% indep - lean Democrat.

Biased sample to say the least.

7% "Indep - Don't lean"

19% "Don't know" (note, this is DIFFERENT than "other party" of which there was no significant declaration, Libertarians will tell you they are Libertarians. Communists and Democrats will lie about party affiliation)
