More important is a corollary that a degree or high intelligence is not an indicator of integrity.
The writer says he is a Republican, seemingly of the Frum/Kristol roll over and die school of conservatism.
And since when do we listen to those foreigners? Or those college professors? Or the drive-by media?
What is provking Cheney is the understanding between administrations: the outgoing will let the new guys operate for a decent time before criticizing. In return, the new guys don’t play the blame game - the election is over.
Well, the Obama guys didn’t play by the rules. They not only keep blaming Bush, they’re being too cute by half with the torture issue. They’re winking to their fringe.
Cheney isn’t playing the fall guy. And it seems that there are some in the CIA fighting back too.
Once this is settled, Cheney will pull back. He’s a gentleman.

Good grief—he is an arab (from Bangledesh)—his name in arabic means Peace favored by god (Allah, not the real one.) I would watch him like a hawk if I were near him. Conservative? I think not.
