I'm certainly no authority on the subject, but don't males usually kill themselves away from their families? It seems very odd that he did this in the middle of the night while his wife and children were presumably sleeping.
One hates to speculate while the body is still literally warm, but it's just a little odd. If this guy's been at Fannie for 16 years, he not only knows where the bodies are buried, but he may have helped to bury some of them.
No, and I unfortunately have knowledge in that area. A very good friend of my family got up in the middle of the night, kissed his wife and told her he loved her and then went to another bedroom and sometime later shot himself in the head. He had been suffering a lot of mental problems and insomnia and had occasionally been sleeping in the other room, so she didn't think anything of it and went back to sleep. She didn't hear the gunshot, either.
Good point. Why would a man kill himself in the house with his children?
Since there was a guard posted outside the house before the suicide, makes you wonder why.
And, how many options do high level politicians have to try and remove “someone”? Suicide would seem the easiest.
