Philip Markoff, the accused murderer now known as the "Craigslist Killer," appeared to be collecting women's panties, which investigators believe were "souvenirs" from his alleged victims, two law enforcement sources told ABC News. Trisha Leffler describes her encounter with Philip Markoff at a Boston hotel.
The panties, found during a search of Markoff's house, are one of the reasons investigators believe there could be more victims who have not yet come forward, the sources said. The underwear was hidden in Markoff's house and was marked and bagged by police as potential evidence in the case, sources said.
Suffolk County District Attorney Dan Conley told "Good Morning America" today that police are asking anyone who may have been contacted by Markoff via Craigslist to come forward, offering reassurance they would not be prosecuted for placing the ads.

And they'll never come forward because they were engaged in an illegal activity when they were robbed.
One sick dude...let’s hospitalize him for the rest of his life...
but but but......his fiance says he’s a beautiful person inside and out and he wouldn’t hurt a fly..........yep, he won’t hurt a fly but women need to very very careful around this creep............
Yeah, I knew right away that simple robbery was not the only motive.
Sounds just like the libtards about Zero.
Yep worship at the altar of the creep,,,,he’s very handsome and very smart therfore he can do no wrong....and his fiance says she intends to go through with the wedding in August of this year.....LMAO,,,,she claims “they have the wrong guy”........um, no sweetheart YOU have the wrong guy..........denial is a sad state of affairs.....
My first thoughts too. I also read or heard that he liked to gamble too - so maybe he also needed money for his gambling debts. Just hearsay - but it might be true.
collecting women’s panties is a problem? Uh, oh. I better notify a few FR pals......
Sounds like this guy has serious issues. His fiance is certainly a Cleopatra (Queen of Denial). He wouldn’t hurt a fly she said. Well lady, he hasn’t got a problem with insects, just humans.
Yesterday, she was saying, "No way!!"
Panty sniffer?
Hospitalize? Castrate him and then hang him!

Yes I knew Philip. I went to gradseschool with him as well as highschool. Hes from my hometown of Sherrill, NY. We were never friends. And although he both went to a small school, he never truly knew me personally. I had 9th grade spanish with him, and sat directly next to him. He would go off on these intense, verbally abusive tirades towards me and I never understood why, because he didnt even know me and I never once did anything to him. He would call me dumb and worthless and have this arrogance to him that he was better and superior because of his intelligence. He wasnt well liked in school, because he was jerky and pompous. He was also kind of dorky and awkward, but the main reason why people didnt like him is because he was so nasty to people. Since I was a female, and he would go off on unwaranted verbally abusive tirades towards me, I saw him as being very mysognistic. You could tell he had a lot of deep-seeded hatred inside of him. From my personal expiriences with him, he was never friendly or nice. I also went to the same college as him, University at Albany, and steered very clear of him if I ever saw him. He always creeped me out and I cant think of one redeemable quality about him. This whole nice guy persona people are saying about him is a total act on his part. He really suckered people into thinking he is something he is not. I knew him before any of these people coming out talking about him,. He is NOT a nice person and as disturbing as this case is, it does not surprise me.

Sorry but robbing a call girl “masseuse” to support your gambling problem is like robbing parking meters to pay your mortgage. There is a whole lot more to this story.
"In his early years he was described as an all-around nice guy. He volunteered for the Republican Party and in his early years he also managed a suicide hotline.
He had a degree in psychology from the University of Washington, where he graduated with honors, and he went to law school in Salt Lake City.
He was well liked by the people with whom he worked and also by his professors. He even saved a young boy from drowning once, and was hailed in his hometown newspaper as a "hero."
Answer "Ted Bundy".
I thought this might be about Bill Clinton. Or Hillary.
Ahhh, now we know. That 2nd step is beating/killing “private dancers”.
Sarcasm was intended...
