Fidel Castro: Obama Got 'Overture' Wrong

HAVANA -- Fidel Castro said Tuesday that President Obama "misinterpreted" his brother Raul's sentiments toward the United States and bristled at any suggestion Cuba should free political prisoners or reduce official fees on money sent to the island from the U.S.

Raul Castro touched off a whirlwind of speculation that the U.S. and Cuba could be headed toward a thaw in nearly a half-century of chilly relations last week, when he said Cuban leaders would be willing to sit down with their U.S. counterparts and discuss "everything," including human rights, freedom of the press and expression, and political prisoners on the island.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said she welcomed the "overture," while Obama responded at the Summit of the Americas by saying Washington seeks a new beginning with Cuba. But he also said that Cuba should release some political prisoners and reduce official taxes on remittances from the U.S. as a sign of good will.

That appeared to enrage Fidel Castro, 82, who wrote in an essay posted on a government Web site that Obama "without a doubt misinterpreted Raul's declarations."

Obama and Castro are making it easier for the NEXT U.S. president to turn-up the heat on Cuba and cripple that little dictatorship.

Two different versions of Munich, 1938:

Chamberlain: “Peace in our time.”
Hitler: “Our enemies our little worms, I saw them in Munich.”

Here is the problem the way I see it.

Alinsky and his entire crowd knew how to cause chaos and the breakdown of a political system. However, they had no clue what to do once they accomplished that goal. In other words, they were the “creme d’la creme” when it came to being useful idiots for the Communists.

Obama has studied Alinsky and that is why he was good at what he did which was being a Community Organizer for the Communists.

There is no leadership skills training for Communists, as all of America is seeing. Without Pravda and DNCTV, Obama is nothing more than another useful idiot.

The Obama administration is nothing then the old adage, “OK, you caught the car, now what?”

So, I’m wondering when the Russian missiles will begin showing up. Now that things are so smoothed over by our own personal Jesus.

If it was misinterpreted then Fidel should get Raul to restate exactly what he meant.

I think Raul set out to make a fool out of Ozero and he fell for it like the fool that he is. I almost feel sorry for him...NOT.

“The Divine One” is an imbecile and we are stuck with him. If international affairs were not so serious “The Divine One” and his Apostles would provide some laughs.

The One and his astroturfers are only good at harming U.S. citizens, patriots and our founding documents; they are completely ineffective in dealing with our actual foes and the evil in the world.

He got it wrong because he is an international tourist who wants to glad hand everyone and believes everyone wants the same thing he wants.

They do but, they want to be at the top of the dogpile to elevate their standing and positioning of importance in their country and the world.

That necessarily creates a conflict requiring the competitors to create strategies that strengthening their position.

So they will negotiate from strength and never proffer weak point or concession that would strengthen the oppositions bargaining power.

Like looking friendly with Hugo Chavez. How could you put the prestige of the United States on the line by allowing him to come anywhere near you, shake hands while smiling from ear to ear and accept a gift? One that vulcanizes the USA.

Of course, Obama could have no idea what was being presented to him as there was no protocol for that. And that is the problem.

Hugo wanted a PR coup that elevates his position with the other leaders of South America and strengthens his image with the people of the Continent. This guy is a bad actor and Obama has given him a huge gift.

Does it hurt our efforts in the long run? Who knows, but it darn sure did not help to have the Poseur of the United States look like he is friends of a man who recently called him a moron.

Hugo has shown that he can manipulate the Poseur and by extension the United States.

The poseur then defends his international swarayes as if he is a farmer. These meetings are designed to get things done and I can assure you the other leaders all agreed to something that collectively benefits them.

There is no leader that shows up for discussions in general. They just don't do it. They come to a meeting with other leaders to close deals which in this case it looks like we can't close anything including Obama’s mouth. Which just goes on and on about nothing substantive.

Bottom line: the United States was left out of any agreements and the people of the USA gained no benefit from the international tourist.

What an absolute moron.

The dummy seems to seriously think that all these countries around the world that he grovels in front of, with all of their individual interests and problems, are going to change policies just because of HIM!!! It’s all about HIM!! LOL!!! I think his silly, pasty-faced momma must have dropped him on his head!
