The whacko liberals predicted Bush/Cheney would do the exact same thing to avoid the 2004.....then 2008 elections.

They are still whackjobs and so is anyone on our side who promotes or buys into this foolish waste of time.

Maybe so, but Bush wasn't in the middle of a major power grab to fundamentally change the country at the time.

0bama is seizing the financial system, destroying the wealth of the middle class, expanding government beyond comprehension, stifling dissent, and selling the country into poverty for generations to come.

All Bush did (by 2004) was fight terrorism and keep the country safe.

Look at what Obama has done in such a short period of time.
I would not doubt this at all.

Obama is making us weaker by the minute and he is not stupid at all. He MUST realize what he is doing.

He wants another attack and when it comes he can and will use whatever he can against us.
If I had told you a month ago that he would have a memo put out that called conservatives terrorists would you have believed it?

Obama is pushing the envelope and has a very liberal congress that is more than happy to comply.

To outrightly decry this and anyone who is on guard against it as a “whackjob” is not a service to any of us.

Perhaps illustrate that the claims have been made before to calm people is one thing, but to brush it off entirely is as foolish as the German people were when Hitler was trying to come into power. Or as the people of the Philippines were when Ferdinand Marcos was elected.
As a matter of fact there is a lot in common between Obama and Marcos if you look at the history.

I for one do not think that this is too far from the realm of possibility at least in theory for one like Obama.
