When Pres__ent 9/10 is finished weakening America,
he will notify his Moslem owners in the "57 states" to begin
their 'bombing of American cities in five minutes'."

I want to know exactly what O is planning for use in place of these successful techniques.

Tea and cookies?

"Banned Techniques Yielded ‘High Value Information,’ Memo Says"

I can't believe I'm the first to catch the lie in the headline.

"Banned Techniques" makes it seem like they were banned at the time.

Just like when Clinton said he would have the most ethical administration the 0bama will claim they won’t use ‘harsh techniques’ until he establishes the Ministry of Love to ‘encourage’ us all to love Big Brother.

We all know the techniques that will be used there.

President Obama’s national intelligence director told colleagues in a private memo last week that the harsh interrogation techniques banned by the White House did produce significant information that helped the nation in its struggle with terrorists

He said "terrorists?"

Finally someone in this bungling administration that has seen the light enough to leak this memo. Can’t wait for more.

So, Obama supressed the relevant portions of the memo. Why am I not surprised?

So ...

1. Prosecute the people who were responsible. make them look like they did something wrong protecting the country.
2. Make people who need to do the same thing to keep us safe afraid to do it so it won’t get done.
3. Change the policy so that it can not be done again.
4. Alert the enemy of what we were doing, which was not actually hurting them to begin with so they can defend against it.

Yep, all makes sense to me, if you want to support terrorism.

Timing of Obama Release of Bush “Torture” Memos Now Clearer as Investigation and Prosecution of Bush Officials Looms

Foolish Obama opens Pandora’s box!

Obama’s selective release of Bush Administration memos which demonstrated legal grounds for enhanced interrogation of a handful of Al Queda terrorists guilty of mass murder of American citizens raised eyebrows for the risk it posed by informing future terrorists of our interrogation methods.

But now, we learn that the timing of this release may have more to do with left wing partisan demands for Bush Administration officials to be prosecuted:

Senior Bush figures could be prosecuted for torture, says Obama
President says use of waterboarding showed US had ‘lost moral bearings’ as Dick Cheney says CIA memos showed torture delivered ‘good’ intelligence
By Ewan MacAskill and Robert Booth

Tuesday 21 April 2009

Senior members of the Bush administration who approved the use of waterboarding and other harsh interrogation measures could face prosecution, President Obama disclosed today .

He said the use of torture reflected America “losing our moral bearings”.

Also from the same memo...

The information gained from these techniques was valuable in some instances, but there is no way of knowing whether the same information could have been obtained through other means,” Admiral Blair said in a written statement issued last night. “The bottom line is these techniques have hurt our image around the world, the damage they have done to our interests far outweighed whatever benefit they gave us and they are not essential to our national security."

MAY 2010 : (OBAMA FIRES HIS DIRECTOR OF NATIONAL INTELLIGENCE, DENNIS BLAIR ... AFTER BLAIR TOLD HIS COLLEAGUES IN A PRIVATE MEMO THAT HARSH INTERROGATION TECHNIQUES BANNED BY THE WHITE HOUSE LED TO HIGH VALUE INFORMATION USEFUL IN UNDERSTANDING AL QAEDA)

Thought I would bump this in light of McCain and other Senators coming out against Zero Dark Thirty for its portrayal of such interrogation as critical to getting OBL.
