We have a great community service program already. It’s called the military and kids can come out with a trade and degree or choose to go to college after they get out. As far as seniors...they don’t have as much time to volunteer as they used to. They are WORKING!
My husband is in his 66th year and works every day that the Lord sends, just about. I suppose I’m semi-retired at 62, but I’m not able at this particular time to volunteer for outside work beyond what I already have to do in the scheme of things just keeping things going around our house and office.
