With a key House committee starting four days of hearings, Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., vowed to get a climate bill approved this year. Noting that Earth Day will be celebrated on Wednesday, she told reporters by the next Earth Day "we want to celebrate what we've done this year" to address climate change and clean energy.

Global warming is a myth, a fantasy and a fraud. The liberals are going to use it as an excuse to exercise more government control over our lives.

A lie. All this really means is "America".

The point seems to be we could buy a powerful lot of cure for all this “prevention” is going to cost us.

... the science is taking a back seat to economics....

Nope, science is taking a back seat to politics professing scientific evidence when just the opposite is proven by factual evidence. Opinions and computer models are not consistent with the facts.

How much will it cost to slow the Earth's warming because of man-made pollution...

NOTHING. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. It will not cost a dime because it's NOT happening.

The earth has been cooling for the last decade. Are liberals nuts?

“...the science is taking a back seat to economics”

Good.

In theory, that is. They could just as easily use bad economics as good, I guess.

"the science is taking a back seat to economics."

I guess the drooling fools that wrote this can't see the thermometer. Hey guys, the weather has been cooling for a decade. The more shrill these global warming alarmists become, the more the public sees through their propaganda. That's why only 35% of the population believe them. Science is taking a backseat to politics, not economics.
