RUSSIA MOVES TROOPS CLOSER TO GEORGIA'S CAPITAL
Kyiv Post ^ | April 21, 2009 | AP Staff

Posted on 04/21/2009 1:24:09 PM PDT by mick

Russia has stationed its forces just 25 miles (40 kilometers) from the Georgian capital, in violation of the EU-brokered cease-fire that ended last year's brief war. And in recent weeks, it has sent even more troops and armored vehicles to within striking distance of the city ahead of street protests against Georgia's president.

A good man. But what we need is an American...........time and crisis should bring somebody to the fore. If it is God’s Will.

I agree - You know, at the time of the election, I said that this is in G-d’s hands now, the outcome will be His will. After the results, I realized His plan must be fulfilled, there IS a reason why zer0 was elected - maybe, on this watch, the destruction of the republic as payback for all the corruption and moral turpitude we see in this nation today.

Or - a rise and resurgence of right-minded people standing up to save and restore the republic!

Either way, the rubber is about to hit the road.

Relax!
“Obama” will engage as many american ground troops to help Georgia fight Russia as Bush did in 2008.

The reason is simple: they both play the same basic role in the same script.

And in that script there is only one possible all out war involving EVERY US citien before nukes fly:

It was the Gov and Nagin that stalled, not Bush.

While the New Orleans bowl was filling up with water, GWB was a few miles down the road from me opening a new senior citizens center. He was about 2 days late in New Orleans. In Georgia, he was about 4 to 5 days late. There is absolutely no excuse for the President of the United States reacting so slow. BTW - Republican operatives were here the night the bowl was filling up trying to dismiss the fears some of us were posting online. Don't know if they were on the party payroll or not. Look about 75 % of the Republican Party is Crooked. Same for the Democratic Party. Time to drop the bull crap. After the Revolution, both Parties should be disbanded. The difference between GWB and Obama is that Obama enjoys screwing the United States. GWB would be just like McCain. Doing what he thinks is right for the 'country', not what is right for his ideology. The problem for our country is that when a Crooked Party member says country, they really mean, Crooked Party. Just look at the bailout for a prime example.

Well said. And what I was trying to say in post 85 above. I believe our beloved country is heading into a great MORAL crisis. But we have faced this before. That's how we got here...Great Challenges and Positive Responses.

IMHO, The Challenge is represented by BO himself, who personifies the pro abortion, appeasement of enemies overseas, retreat from the invigorating system of free enterprise....in short, he is the embodiment of The Culture of Death.

And our response must be pro life in all it's elements....from a manly pride in our nation and it's laws and traditions to an uncompromising assertion of American Exceptionalism on the world stage.

Maybe this is why The Almighty Creator allowed this man to enter the Oval Office.

What did you want him to do, part Lake Ponchatrain, like Moses?

I like this version...

What is that?

Others have explained the Samson Option to you as it is commonly known. Basically Israel destroys all its nearby enemy cities with nukes and then attempts to survive the fallout. It is a semi-MAD end game as many Israelis would also die from radiation poisoning. Now if Russia cements is Defensive Pact with Iran, the semi-MAD end game becomes a MAD end game. All of the largest Russian cities would then be struck along with the Arab and Persian cities. Surviving Russians would then counter strike Israel. Now the Israelis would be committing suicide more or less in that scenario, but they really would have no choice. Either they die alone or with their enemies. Since Jews have scattered throughout the globe, that end game would not be the end of their race or culture. Just the end of their state.

Then of course there is the Armageddon type End game. A lot is unknown about this, but just put yourself in the shoes of an Jewish person. Look at how the world has treated you. Less then 100 years ago the dominant state on the planet (Germany) tried to wipe out the entire Jewish race. Look at how Rome treated the Jews. Then of course along came Arabic Islam. And now we have a situation where most of the planet States are aligned against the Jewish state. These millenium years old scenarios have now entered the modern Nuclear Age. Israel has the power to destroy all the nations on the planet. And you have to ask yourself, if they are backed into a corner, why wouldn't they ? Especially after the way the world has treated them ? And our stupid leaders are more or less clueless as to how many nukes the Israelis have and are more or less clueless as to how effective they have miniaturized the nuclear warheads. If the Israelis decide to treat the world the way the world has treated them, we are all toast, IMHO.

You are the one typing that. Not me. I simply said his response was late. He decided that opening a senior citizens center was more important then monitoring one of our largest cities being hit by the eye of a very large hurricane. I had a choice to make. Attend GWB opening the senior citizens center, or keep abreast of the situation in New Orleans. I made the right choice.

GWB selected the head of FEMA. Just about everyone now agrees that it was a FOB appointment. Not selected based on qualifications. Unless of course you think Horse Breeders make good Federal Emergency Handlers. At any rate, no need to muck up a thread about Russia with unrelated history. Have fun.

On top of all the understandable thoughts these tyrants may have going through their heads you can add the fact that the racism in other countries against blacks is pretty widespread and deep. It may aggravate an already bad situation, and embolden them all the more to think they can squash him, and a lot of his timidity and naivete unfortunately play into those prejudices.

This ought not come as a surprise to anyone. This has long been in the planning stages for Russia...

Last summer was simply an exercise as they waited for the end of the Bush administration, to see whether they would have McCain and need to stall for another four years, or zer0bama and not have to wait any longer than the end of their long cold Russian winter.

This is going to be a long year - in every respect. Every.

I simply said his response was late.

And I told you it wasn't.

Facts bear that out, but you can ignore them again.

Fortunately, President Bush can multi-task.

The MSN and the liberals/leftists/democrats say things like "he decided that opening a senior citizens center was more important then etc etc."

The facts show different than your opinion.

It was all over FR that what I originally posted were the facts.

My original post to you explained it but you prefer to believe leftist talking points.

No prob.

Remember also that President Bush thought it "was more important to read a story to kids" than respond to the 911 attacks.
