BRITAIN appears to be evolving into the first modern soft totalitarian state... There's nothing "soft" about arresting children for their thoughts. It's a hard totalitarian state. How do they put up with it?

'1984' was supposed to be a warning, not an instruction manual.
There must be hurricane-force winds emanating from George Orwell's spinning grave, as Ingsoc becomes sad reality ...

How do they put up with it? Don't worry it will never happen here. We won't put up with it.
(Regrettfully, I'm being very sarcastic.)

This is what we have to look forward to when Osama bin Obama and his accomplices in the kongress get their wet dream gun control laws passed.

Weapons can be made. Not advocating anything Ill Eagle of course. Just sayin’.
The only thing that gives me any hope at all is knowing that there’s only so much the soccer hooligans will take.

" 14-year-old schoolgirl asked a teacher if she could sit with another group to do a science project as all the girls with her spoke only Urdu. ...She was arrested"
You said, "theres only so much the soccer hooligans will take."
I think they're past the tipping point. They keep electing these totalitarians. Which means they've either terminally swallowed the kool-aid, or vote fraud has reached such massive proportions that there is nothing they can do.
I fear we are following in their footsteps, if we aren't already in the process of overtaking them. Especially in the taxpayer-funded vote fraud department.

“if she could sit with another group to do a science project as all the girls with her spoke only Urdu”
arrested for that! England is a joke. I’ll never go there.

This year, Muslim and Christian parents at another school objecting to the same material have not only had their objections ignored but have been threatened with prosecution if they withdraw their children. I'd have a little meeting of the concerned parents and then withdraw all the affected kids en mass.
Let the evening news show dozens of parents and kids being hauled off to Old Bailey at gunpoint.

I think an attempt to register firearms will be the spark that ignites a conflagration in this country. I would hate to see it happen, but the arrogance of the Beltway, the Congress and WH is astounding.
And it might start here on FR, if it hasn’t begun already.

"... The Royal Navy, for instance, has installed a satanist chapel in a warship to accommodate the proclivities of a satanist crew member." In the US Marine Corps, by comparison, anyone demanding a Satanist chapel on base would be taken to the whiskey locker and basically get his ass F'ed up. Probably pretty bad too.
They'd find a way to discharge them before the wounds healed.

IIRC from a thread at this forum, the US Army accommodates Satan worshipers. I hope I am wrong.

And it might start here on FR, if it hasnt begun already. My opinion is that it will start somewhere else, where it will take them by surprise. They expect it from us, we are the right wing insurgents they are watching. Remember, a bunch, maybe half of the democrats in the house do not represent 'safe' districts and must anwer every two years. This issue scares the pants off of them. The media is trying to help, but it aint working.

The Government is pushing ahead with legislation that will criminalise politically incorrect jokes, with a maximum punishment of up to seven years' prison.
Spinning in his grave.

I've got nothing.

To be a “soccer hooligan” is to be a dumbed down welfare thing.
You’ve already been dehumanized by the system. Do people like this fight back against totalitarianism? Not if history is a guide.
