After eight years of the paranoid opposition biting at the heels of President Bush, rejoicing at any possibility of evildoing in an attempt to vindicate their bitterness, it is now President Obama’s turn to feel the hyper-partisan heat.

The author could have stopped right there. Yes, it is.

That, however, has very little to do with the substance and application of this particular report. With the other two he cited we were speaking of acknowledged, self-named radicals that may be accused of a penchant for violence because they have already employed it. I watched as anarchists took over the streets of Seattle for an unforgettable week, smashing windows, pushing burning dumpsters toward other human beings - these are the groups named on the "equivalent" report on the left.

There is no equivalency here. Timothy McVeigh does not stand for all military veterans. The author, a security specialist, is occupationally inclined to view all potential threats with the same jaundiced eye but that simply isn't going to let this one pass. Of all people he ought to know better.

Anti-abortionists, pro-Second Amendment people, people concerned about globalism, people opposed to central government and returning American veterans NEVER
hijacked airplanes to kill several thousand Americans in New York, NEVER stoned anybody to death, NEVER said God told them to conquer the world, NEVER were involved in slavetrading and wife beating, and NEVER targeted American military and civilians overseas.

We are NOT terrorists.

MUSLIMS, on the other DID and CONTINUE TO DO all of the foregoing. THEY are the Terrorists.

If Napolitano and her puppeteer in the Oval Office don't understand this, they should look for another job - one more in keeping with their peculiar “talents”, like Court Jesters.

To back up his assertion that “The threat of right-wing extremism is not an imaginary threat, dreamt up in the minds of Democratic Party mullahs seeking to silence their critics.” Ryan Mauro reference a usnews article from 2005 that in turn references a report by the $PLC (Southern Poverty Law Center).

$PLC is a group dedicated to monitoring the activities of ‘hate groups’ in the US and exaggerating white racism.

Sheesh! This author is a real bonehead.

Well, as Napolitano herself put it: "I was the United States attorney for Arizona in the '90s when Timothy McVeigh bombed the Murrow building in Oklahoma City and unfortunately he was a vet -- that's where he got his training."

Training for what? He went to Indonesia, as a civilian, to get training from Muslim fundamentalists on making ANFO bombs.

But the report also outlines several motivations DHS claims leads to becoming a "right-wing extremist." Did Timothy McVeigh claim any of those motivations for his actions?

McVeigh didn't cite any of those issues as motivating factors. And he didn't get his bomb making training in the military. Ms. Napolitano, in spite of being a US attorney on the McVeigh case, seems to have remained more ignorant about T. McVeigh than your average couch potato with a TV set.

She's going to be a great Homeland Security Secretary! /s

The neo-cons don’t want you to question the massive internal security they have erected.

I promise not to use caterpillars if I do question them. ;^)

Pajamas Media, shame on you for giving a forum to Mr. Mauro, whose diatribe would have been more appropriate for DU.

"The threat of right-wing extremism is not an imaginary threat, dreamt up in the minds of Democratic Party mullahs seeking to silence their critics. In December, a murdered right-wing extremist, said to be have been infuriated by President Obama’s election victory, was found to have acquired components for a “dirty bomb.” Prior to that, two skinheads were arrested before acting on their plan to kill President Obama and go on a killing spree that would take the lives of 88 people, including 14 African-Americans who would be beheaded. In July 2005, the Southern Poverty Law Center reported that about 60 right-wing extremist terrorist plots had been foiled since the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing. The memo is correct in warning that the current political and economic environment could result in an increase in such activity."

When so-called "right wing" extremists start bombing and murdering people, you can be sure that they're not Conservatives, and in fact, they're not right wing at all. They're much more likely to be leftists. The left is the side that is intolerant to the point of murder. The left is the side that gets physically violent when they disagree with someone. The left is the side that wants to use power to control and tyrannize people. The left is the side that is racist. The left is the side that is destroying the country and ignoring the Constitution.

The Right is much more likely to peacefully protest at TEA parties and send lots of mail and make lots of calls to our representatives and senators with reasoned arguments about the Constitutionality of laws and bills.

In short, we're sane, and they're not.

And give McVeigh a stinkin' rest. He was no more a Conservative than Bill Ayres is.

Text correct by me.
