Is this Stone any relation to Oliver? And is the Dodd mentioned in the article related to the bozo in the Senate? He was a German ambassador; obviously that Dodd had good political ties. Did he lead the way for the present Dodd?
I also found it interesting that the article mentioned Eric Alerman and Stone's role as his mentor.

I.F. Stone was not related to Oliver Stone, though both were good at anti-American propaganda. Izzy was a Soviet agent, period. Stone is just stoned. I’ve met IF Stone and he was a “grandfatherly” red, charming, smiling, and full of communist propaganda. His son, Jeremy, was a longtime leader of the leftist Federation of American Scientists, one of the leading groups in the anti-defense lobby.

Alterman wrote for the maoist weekly, the “Guardian”, US radical weekly. He is still in leftist groups and writes for possibly the far-left, once CPUSA-led “The Nation.” (I.e. Carey McWilliams, a longtime identified CPUSA organizer).

Dodd: Was US ambassador to Germany and pro-German. His daughter Martha was mixed up in communist fronts.

Sen. Thomas Dodd was the father of the present Sen. Chris “I never met a red I didn’t like” Dodd. If I remember correctly, Tom Dodd was a Nuremberg prosecutor and was the top responsible anti-communist senator in Congress. Unfortunately he got involved with foreign lobbyists and was censured by Congress (for things that the Democrats do on a regular basis today).

Stone was the U.S. version of identified Soviet and Red Chinese agent Wilfred Burchett, the favorite journalist of “the Guardian”, the “Daily Worker/World” and the N.Y. Times.

He was an enemy of the US and only a fool would say otherwise
