She home-schooled our children in California when it was all but against the law to stand up against the education establishment. She campaigned vigorously and effectively for Props 174, 187 and 209. She made sure that the CCRA retained the provisions denying females privilege before the bar of the law. She led us out of CA and into NC where our children have a fighting chance to have some kind of attainable, wholesome future. She cared for her daughter and her grand-daughter when they had no one else, coming across country to do it. She gave of herself every day of her life and we cherish every moment.
She was truly the most remarkable and lovable woman I ever knew and I suspect ever will know. God blessed me abundantly with her and I am only sorry she will not have the years to come to see the vineyard of her labors bearing fruit as they begin now to do.
I ask her to intercede for me in the communion of the saints.
