Bush made no effort to have a successor.

McCain defaulted as the last presidential nominee, and lost by a 2-1 Electoral vote margin.

And no one else has stepped up.

Instead, there are several factions operating behind the scenes and trying to undercut the other factions -- the Romney faction, the Huckabee faction, the Gingrich faction, etc.

The GOP/Republican Party has no singular voice, no direction, no leadership.

The media turned against McCain before Sarah came along. I have a theory that McCain chose Sarah thinking she would hurt his campaign, so he could throw the election, and blame it on her. To his surprise, Sarah almost pulled it off for him, and she would have if his staff hadn’t gone all out to sabotage her. ...Anyhow, McCain is back where he is comfortable, being a stooge for the leftist media, and air-headed Meghan is right there with him.
