adviser to Norm Coleman and Dave Durenberger...two Rinos. One who’s tied with a POS comedian.

The RINOs aren’t even trying to pretend anymore. Conservatives need not apply.

“We need leadership in this party that can stand up and say, ‘Barack Obama is not my kind of President’”.

THAT’s what this guy should have said.

The change to real small government must start now, and the majority of Republicans no longer offer it. When they do... they get my attention.

Sitting back on your hands won't accomplish anything. Vote for conservatives in the primaries.

“If half the Repub males had the guts Michelle Bachmann did we would not be in this mess.

One thing I will always be thankful to Mitt Romney is how he rushed in to help her whenthe GOP cut off her money during the 2008 election. Talk radio and voters also sent her money to help her.”

Yes I mailed the GOP also voicing my displeasure and guess what they even replied, shocking!

That's all I needed to see.

WHAT’S A REPUBLICAN? MINNESOTA’S FEUDING FACTIONS EACH HAVE A VISION
St. Paul Pioneer Press (MN) - Monday, September 1, 2008
Author: Dennis Lien ; dlien@pioneerpress.com
Minnesota Republicans are, at least in part, an unknown lot.

But if the delegates heading to the Xcel Energy Center for the Republican National Convention reflect their state party, they come from increasingly varied and divisive camps.

Within it, social and economic conservatives spar with one another and with moderates about the party’s direction. Another group wants to mix it up altogether. Old lines from a quarter-century ago are barely recognizable. Some even see themselves as more independent than Republican.

“I think we are only at the very beginning of really significant tensions within these groups,” said Tom Horner , a public relations executive and chief of staff to former Republican U.S. Sen. Dave Durenberger.

(snip)

“If we don’t open ourselves to new ideas to what is actually happening in the world, I think there’s the potential for Republicans to become increasingly marginalized,” Horner added.

He sees an anti-government group seeking lower taxes dueling a limited-government faction that sees government as a guarantor of equity.

“It believes that what government does do, it ought to do very, very well,” Horner said.

Still another faction, which occasionally includes Gov. Tim Pawlenty, advocates rethinking government completely, Horner said. Its inability to gain much traction chases a lot of people out of the party, he added.

(snip)

She was just on Glenn Beck’s show... personally, I like her just fine. She and Palin are my kind of Republican’s because they are not afraid to speak the truth.

Bachman is excellent. She has a better grasp of national
affairs. Her formal education is more than adequate and
her family life is exemplary ( 5 children and a great deal
of involvement as a foster parent.) She should definitely
be looked at.

I would also add:

When have the DEMOCRATS ever apologized for anyone on THEIR side?
Why do REPUBLICANS feel the need to distance ourselves from strong words and strong leadership?
There does not seem to be a SINGLE member of the Congressional Black Caucus that appears to be even remotely stable, mentally -— yet the Left never apologizes for the stupidity and radicalism of the CBC.
The Left never apologizes for Michael Moron or Nazi sympathizer George Soros.

QUIT APOLOGIZING!

As Republicans, we can all ALLOW each other to have slightly different strategies and slightly different views.

It is NORMAL for Patriots to question and mistrust their government. Our Founders did not trust government, in general. Our Founders counted on people like Freepers and Bachmann to keep government in line!

Why don’t we just look the other way and say there isn’t a threat there, like was done with the Fannie/Freddie mess.

I’m sorry, but I’m tired of having party leaders who stick their heads in the sand while we average folk pay the price. If that makes me a kook in the minds of those dreamers, then so be it. I’d rather be prepared for if it happens and be pleasantly disappointed, than be caught up in the pangs of socialist change by surprise.

They were wrong over the financial disaster, and they could very well be wrong over this too.

I heard Rush talking about the question of whose brain he would like to have if he had to pick one other than his own. I asked myself the same question and Michelle Bachman’s name instantly came to mind. She is a breath of fresh air! The libs are cowering at the thought of Michelle Bachman. Any so called Republican that dares say those things about her is a coward and GOP cowardice is what got us in the boat we are in now.
