As I remember it, the oath that we all took when joining this country's military forces was dedicated to protecting our country and the constitution, there were no escape clause or sunset provision.

Unfortunately I’m not one of those that have taken the oath.

You are exactly right. It is an oath for life and the key word of the day is “DOMESTIC” (Read: All enemies foreign and domestic.)

They, and the ex mil guys, need to step up now and start training their friends and neighbors some of what they were taught, and in the process form up their bubba networks.

BUMP! I’m going to hand a copy of the oath to a few local police officers to send up the chain of command. I play b’ball with the police chief of one nearby town; I’ll give him one too. The responses should be interesting.
I also sing in the choir with a retired LEO who now has a job with homeland security. He gets one as well.

This is the sort of organization which should have 75 million members. I’d certainly be among them.

I took the oath in ‘72 at Ft Holibird Md. It didn’t have an expiration date.

The only way a tyrannical government from the left or right can succeed is for active duty personnel to obey unlawful ordersBRAVO, SIR.
Acknowledging that orders can be unlawful means that you acknowledge the primacy of God and conscience over the arbitrary rule of the state.
