If a reasonable number of states would, over the next few years, revise their election laws so as to require that a candidate for election to an office for which there is a requirement to be of a certain age, and to be a natural born citizen of the United States, present to the state official charged with overseeing election matters a birth certificate substantiating eligibility, Obama would have to quit shucking and jiving and put up or shut up. Hard to get reelected if you can’t get your name on the ballot.

I agree. All of us need to write our governors and state senators and reps to tell them that we want our state to require certified long form birthcertificates from candidates that want to be on our ballot.
