Amazing this happened!!!
However, this being from the UK... and this woman being from Mississippi...
They are putting their own idea of tea into this situation. She more than likely did not make herself a “cup of tea”, but a glass of Sweet Iced Tea, which is common in this area. And it is also common to offer any visiter a glass of Iced Tea.
As Dolly Parton said in Steel Magnolias, Sweet Ice Tea. It’s the housewine of the south!
Just a correction there.

He said that her husband had been on probation for domestic violence and officers had been seeking to serve him with a court order demanding he stayed away from his wife and their rural home. Justice was served. These POS take out everyone along with themselves. Go off yourselves, cowards, and leave the rest alone.
