OK, I get it. It’s a very funny joke. “Tea party” and “teabagging” both have the word “tea” in them — a witticism worthy of Oscar Wilde. Or at least worthy of our age’s eminent wit, CNN’s own Anderson Cooper. Maybe I’m the wrong guy to complain about this. After all, I made what little reputation I have by drinking while reading the news — and being more than a little dirty-minded about it all.
That said, the sexual innuendo isn’t — for once — what interests me. What is interesting is watching the teabagging meme take hold all across the left and even the mainstream media — and why it has.
Ridicule has long been a powerful propaganda tool. Ayn Rand noted just that in The Fountainhead, when villain Ellsworth Toohey explains that he would “Kill by laughter. … One doesn’t reverence with a giggle.” Professional rabble-rouser — er, “community organizer” — Saul Alinsky’s rule five was: “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.” And that’s exactly what we’re seeing on display all across the left side of the blogosphere and the MSM....

Well, this one DOES have a history, and I watched it unfold.
A Paid KOS Blogger/”Opionion Crafter” (from Move-On??) posts this on KOS.
It gets picked up by the Daily Show Staffers and newsroom producers that regularly post on KOS.
The Rest is history.
It’s how things work now. KOS has become the MEdia idea exchange and clearing house. If it is the “Topic of choice” on KOS, it will be leading the alphabet networks in 48 hours. And the K street folks KNOW THIS, which is why they actually PAY people to “Create Opinion” on both KOS and Huffington.

Watch KOS over the weekend, and note which “issue” is repeated several times by it’s “Diarists”. Then pay attention to what the “Leading” issue story for the alphabet networks is on Tuesday!
Maybe Nancy’s tea-baggers in San Fran can explain why their “normal sexual practices” would be used to bash people for seeking their rights. Could it be that democrats really think its a perversion, but they will do anything for a vote?

I sent a friendly email to the WH and asked what wideend Michelle thought about the teabagging that happened 4-15 and if she supports teabagging, we all know I mean the tax parties no?
The TEA parties are a solid start (there were about 5,000 in Olympia, WA, where the wife and I were). But we, the people, have to follow up by having “Push Back Until” events later this year, early next year, and for as long as we have to: http://pushbackuntil.com.
It will not be easy, but how interested are we in saving our country from an irresponsible Congress? If we, the people, do nothing, our country is finished.

Ridicule is the only weapon of the clueless left media. They clearly have no idea about the goals of the teapartyers. I suppose, like that idiot Janeane Garafolo, they think there must be racism behind it. One thing these parties do is destroy the myth Big Media is trying to spread to the world that all Americans are behind Obama’s takeover plans.
Hopefully, very few, although judging by the number of votes 0 received in the last election, the term was more popular than we thought.
