Too bad our side has been intimidated in addressing the remedy, without which we will be a very different nation by the time - possibly decades - Obama is no longer supreme commander. In the words of that constitutional scholar, Patrick Leahy in 2008: “Based on the understanding of the pertinent sources of constitutional meaning, it is widely believed that if someone is born to American citizens anywhere in the world they are natural born citizens.”
Obama’s father never was an “American Citizen.” Obama is a poster boy for the wisdom of our founders when they made the special requirements for president in Article II Section I. Every Senator knew it but was afraid. Obama is good at in-your-face politics. He said, in effect, come get me if you dare, but the Watts and Detroit riots will be picnics (James Carvill in an interview).
Wake up Freepers. This isn't about mysteriously lost birth certificates or Kenyan grandmothers. He put it right up front, as if he could hide it, where most who have never thought about the subtleties of what it means to be “Natural Born,” would figure “he didn't hide it so there must be nothing wrong.” Remember Obama’s interview in Chicago NPR some years ago - I paraphrase - “...the constitution has some good things, but it doesn't let me do some of the things I would like to do.”
Many will say “Well, we'll just let this one slide: after all, he was elected.” We then stop being a nation of laws. Our Senators, all of them, signed Senate resolution 511 last year in which American Citizen parents is unquestioned. Obama, and Soros, and Podesta, and Morton Halperin, and SDS founder Aryeh Neier, and ... are taking control. They have the Executive, CIA, Justice, Treasury. The constitution was written for our protection. If we ignore it, he/they will continue to crush the individual liberties we are watching disappear. Obama is not a Natural Born Citizen!
