In Borat, he tried to get a guy I know to make racial comments, and according to Passmore, the film crew and Cohen became upset and aggressive when Passmore wouldn't fall into the trap. Passmore is a karate instructor, and Cohen was trying to get him to talk about karate moves that would be effective on Jews.

I've read several Freepers talking about how Cohen's schtick is supposed to be, but he'll never get any of my money. In the article they talk about how funny it will be, but it's really about trying to degrade someone by taking them down to Cohen's level.

If you read Paul's response, you'll see that this was all in a studio, with a back set made to look like a bedroom. Paul would have had no reason to suspect a thing until they went into that section.
