Mainstream Media: Only Conservatives Are Sore Losers
Big Hollywood ^ | April 16, 2009 | Tim Slagle

The popular meme circulating throughout the “unbiased” media yesterday was: The original Tea Party was about taxation without representation but Americans HAVE representation and Republicans are just mad because they lost. The more I twist that in my head, the more absurd it sounds. What they’re really saying is: you are only allowed representation in government if you’re the majority.

Funny how that didn’t seem to be the case in California when Prop. 8 passed. I don’t remember any snide reporter telling a disappointed same-sex couple “Hey, you lost, get over it.” In fact, their protests have been covered by teary-eyed reporterettes (too young to remember Selma) as a modern civil rights struggle. (How is the right to keep your income and raise children free from debt not a civil right?) And the justification of majority Democracy gave no comfort to Prop. 8 opponents who went to court to overturn the majority.

When you champion the right of the majority to overtax the minority the rich will always lose. By definition, the top 5% of income earners can never expect to be more than five percent of the voting public. So the top five percent are always going to lose. This was the same strategy that allowed slavery in this country. Since the majority of Americans didn’t think it was wrong to enslave the minority, it was an accepted practice.

Understanding all this discrimination against conservatives is easy when you remember that...

Conservatives = adults (of any age)

Liberals = immature children (of any age)

All I’ve got to say is that I didn’t see any cops in riot gear during the tea parties. Seems to me that it says something about our respective behaviors.

"Mainstream Media: Only Conservatives Are Sore Losers"

According to MSNBC they are now running against "racist rednecks" in their current strategy. Obama didn't even run on a policy platform as radical as what they are doing now. So this meme doesn't hold up or pass scrutiny. This is the old Clinton blame-Rush-for-the-Oklahoma-City-bombing jive routine they do when they are panicked. Obama policies are not working so they are in panic mode and back to playing dirty.

Let them try it. We’re just going to have to get down shitty with those scumbags. There is so much crap we can talk about regarding Obama, Biden and their gang that it isn’t even funny. Let ‘em blast away.

Typical democrats really. Attempting to ridicule and embarrass conservatives into silence.

I’ve got news for them, I left middle school behind a hell of a long time ago.

And while I’m at it, where are the comments aboput our free speech rights? When conservatives are protested by the left, you always hear the conservative make sure to reaffirm that right for ALL Americans, not just those we agree with.

It's an old strategy - demonize the opponents, claim you are running against the most extreme groups of extremists. It's right out of Prof. Richard Hofstadter's The Paranoid Style in American Politics. This isn't an accident. They tried the same tactic with Rush and the militias back in the 1990s when the Clintons were in the White House. They hype a panic about right-wing extremists and they go looking for them to round up before cameras for show trials.

The video is a description of the 5 supposed forms of government, from 100% government control (Communism, facism, totalitarianism etc) to 0% government (anarchy) it obliteraties all forms of government as only temporary and futile except for 2, olgiarchy and republic. It does this in a clear concise manner, which effectively shows even a grade schooler about them. It then, in the last few moments, explains Rome, its beginning as a republic, and its morph into a democracy. The parallels are well put, and clearly where this country is today. It is an excellent way to spread the word to those who have never been taught proper history, and that is alot of people since they have been re writing it for so long now.

I have been posting this sucker all over all day, and sometimes I forget that some are stuck at work, so I have included the above basic description of the video, however it does not do the video justice. I beg, implore and urge all to view it who have not. THIS is the reason we are so angry. Taxes are a symptom, losing our republic is the disease!!!!!

This topic does underscore the problem presented when the majority enable a government to break the constitution and pass legislation potentially damaging or even destructive to the whole nation, majority and minority suffering its effects together.

Sometimes a principled minority has to stand up and form a barrier to the further reckless advance of the tanks of the monolithic state. That effort sadly failed twenty years ago in Beijing, but in a society still partly free like the United States, with God’s help, it may succeed.

That opening to our opponents was handed to the left on a silver platter by associating the TP’s with a movement that had little to do with the symbolism in which it was draped. The second mistake was making it in large part about taxes rather than concentrating solely on borrowing, the deficit (though higher taxes may be the result down the road, Americans can’t think more than 2 weeks ahead) and bringing the calawags responsible for this economic collapse to justice.

Rather than fix their mistake the organizers have called for...more Tea Parties.

Unless they change their strategy I’m giving the whole th8ing six months before it implodes.

These people are as ignorant as I was 10 years ago. And that was quite a lot of ignorance.
