As I see it, your post is central to this movement. I, personally, don’t even want to hear a politician speak at one of these grassroots rallies - I want them to LISTEN and observe - even if it is a politician that has worked for the values and concerns the rallies address.
I think the elected need to show some humility and respect for the people whom they represent.
These human events get to be like the battle of the bulge with the chaos of the enemy trying to fool soldiers by simply changing their garmets.
It is important, therefore, to march under the banner of truths (ones we hold as self evident) and principles.
I Agree, I do not want to see one politician at these events on the podium, I do not want them to be passing out their campaign literature, I want them to SHUT UP and SIT DOWN for a change and Listen as you said.
I do not want to ever see a candidate set up shop at one of these events, EVER. These events are not a FREE RIDE for them, yet they seem to think we are captives,and yes there was one that I saw maybe more, at our event in OKC.
